In the restaurant Reina de Port Lligat, Rafael and his team, in one of the old rooms of the house, with walls of large river stones, we made the wine cellar. Refrigerated with an optimal temperature and humidity for the conservation of great wines.
We designed some boxes made of thick glass where all the bottled grape wines rest, from young to old. Exposed in the recommended position seeing the river stone in the background with a daylight sifted through specially tinted windows for this project.
We can find more than 50% of Empordà wines from the region, with 40% of wines from the peninsula extremely selected and 10% of foreign wines.
All of them have been chosen so that our guests can enjoy aromas, perceptions and a great match with the dishes created by Rafael.
